Cap10K 2026 Recap: Back in Austin With the Community
May 11, 2026

Just two months after the Austin Marathon Expo, we were back in downtown Austin for another major race weekend - the 2026 Statesman Cap10K.
With an estimated 20,000+ runners taking over the city on April 12th, the energy all weekend was exactly what you’d expect from one of the largest and longest-running 10K races in Texas.
Returning to the Palmer Event Center
The Cap10K Expo ran April 10–11, and we brought back the same booth setup from the Austin Marathon earlier this year. The industrial-inspired storefront build made its return, and despite still being depleted on several products from the marathon weekend, we were able to showcase a strong variety of running gear throughout the expo.
More than anything though, events like this are about the people.
We met a lot of new faces over the weekend, reconnected with familiar ones, and spent two full days talking training, racing, gear, and everything in between with the Austin running community. That part never gets old.

Race Day
Sunday morning was another reminder of how strong the Austin running scene really is.
Seeing so many runners out on course wearing our gear throughout the Cap10K was easily one of the highlights of the weekend. From the start line to the final stretch downtown, NSP was represented all over the course.
That support means a lot to us, especially during a season that’s been moving fast.

Half-Tights Online Launch Coming Soon
One of the biggest surprises from the Austin Marathon Expo earlier this year was how quickly our first-ever half-tights sold out. We never even had the chance to officially launch them online before they were gone.
Right now, we’re preparing for the official online release and restock which will be on Thursday, May 14th at 12pm.

What’s Next
Next up is the return of our annual Murph workout on May 25th at 5PM, hosted this year at OBK Fitness in Round Rock, Texas.
This is a free community event built around hard work, remembrance, and bringing people together through fitness. The official RSVP can be found here.
And further down the road, we’ve got our eyes on Chicago.
Nothing is finalized yet, but there’s a good chance we’ll be heading north this October to kick off the next race season at the Chicago Marathon.
For now, we just want to say thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth, supported the brand, or showed up on race day wearing our gear.
We’ll see you at the next one.
